Don't know if it's a re-post or not. Patrick Dempsey will be playing Denny Swift.

I haven't had the chance to read the book yet.

Is the book out in paperback yet? I am not paying hardcover prices for a novel.

I went to Amazon, typed in "racing in the rain" and there you go. The paperback.

$8.99

My wife listened to it as an audiobook (from the local public library, for those who don't like to pay for things) and loved it. So we bought a copy.

I think they had to close them down along with all the state parks...spent all the money on who knows what.

Couldn't Cali arrange to have the Guvernator do a few flicks in office per year to balance the budget?

Not unless you want to make the problem worse!!

Case in point :

Cali's deficit:
$42 and then 9 zeroes behind it

Rise of the Machines (last Arny movie):
Domestic gross - $150 and 6 zeroes
Production budget - $200 mill

=fail

Ding ding ding...winnar! I can't say that it was actually at the GRM tent, but Garth was whisked away for a meeting with Patrick after one of the guided pit tours with a Mazda rep. (Dempsey was driving an RX-8 this year.)
