Well, without totally giving it away... the main character, Walter (who is bat-E36 M3 crazy) can only communicate through the beaver puppet. Eventually, he tries to break free of its control, rather unsuccessfully... until in desperation he decides to use the skill saw...

Reading the thread title and the author, I wasn't sure what I was going to find in here. I knew it would go down hill fast though.

If the puppet looks like a Pirate and you have the dialect downpat, sounds like good solid reasoning to me.
