There's a gate at Georgia Tech that's has about 4" more clearance between the tip of the arm and the curb than the width of a 240. I've only received a single parking ticket from this knowledge.
I think it was a 89 toy pickup 4x4 and a 91 jeep pickup, a saturn, one subby wagon, that was in my 20's and 30's. nothing in highschool.
