The LA lawyer always had luxo-barges, but his P.I. buddy had the good stuff!
You know, I stumbled upon the reboot that's also a prequel (on Max, I think) and really enjoyed it.
I'll take this as a sign that I should watch the original show.
Cool video, narrated by Perry himself. We still watch Perry Mason regularly. It's the Mrs's go to comfort murder mystery and takes us back to our black and white childhood. Twice daily on ME TV airwaves TV and anytime on Freevee internet TV.

He, the actor was asked the question about how he felt about loosing every case and he said that they where all on the same team, only looking for the truth and wanting to punish the guilty.
Why is it none of these drivers can come to a stop without dipping the front end and getting a little "eeech" out of the tires?

Because neither ABS nor tires with a respectable amount of grip had been invented yet

Perry Mason was before my time and I don't think I've ever seen an episode. I do like watching Adam-12 (still predates me), Emergency! and CHiPs, but mostly for the cars. I lose track of what's actually going on in the episode because I'm too busy looking in the background.
The same cars turn up over and over in Emergency and Chips. There is one pale yellow '69 Camaro RS/SS that I see all the time in Emergency. I got to the point where I was just watching the show to see when the Camaro would show up.

Like the green Beetle throughout the chase scene in the movie Bullet?
In the Rockford files they use some chase scenes again. Watching them recently I noticed the same Datsun roadster on the same road in different episodes.

They would reuse scenes from different years, so in one moment he'd be driving a 1977 Firebird and the next a 1976 Firebird.
Emergency! trivia: the white-haired doctor was played by Bobby Troup, who was also the jazz pianist who wrote Route 66. He was also married ro Julie London, the head nurse, who was also a well known singer.
About Pery Mason.
You might think that both Berger and Tragg would smarten up and become better at their jobs, that some of Masons smarts would rub off on them. Guess not.
The Camaro was probably owned by one of the actors or someone on the production staff. The highway scenes on CHiPs were all staff cars piloted by the owners unless part of a stunt sequence. That's why you will see the same cars in every episode.

I questioned that at the time too, but they were driving AMCs for their squad cars that year too so obviously the show had a marketing deal with them. In previous years their squad cars were Plymouth Satellites. Some other 1960s or 1970s shows were more obvious about it, where every vehicle you'd see on the street would be the same make - look at Beverly Hillbillies (Chrysler) or Bewitched (Chevrolet.)
[there was one of the James Bond movies, I think Live and Let Die, where there was a scene of cars driving on a freeway in New York City and every single one was a Chevy Impala. There were dozens of them, it's pretty hilarious when you start noticing it.]
