A 70 roll is all that would make sense in my econobox. And i'd still have to start in 4th to avoid wheelspin.

Your car doesn't fit in the typical E36 M3box category
EDIT: 5 minutes on that forum gave me a headache.
Correction: Co-worker's S-Line is an A6. Not that anyone can blame me for not being able to tell berkeleying Audi's apart.

I'm being REALLY entertained... It's a mixture of dumb kids that know nothing at all, dumb kids that can't spell or use grammar, dumb kids that lie about anything and everything, and dumb kids that like to think they're smart, but are in fact, dumb.
I just had to spell out to one of them that if you have camber plates, you don't need camber bolts, and in fact, you SHOULDN'T have camber bolts.
"So... uh.... do i remove them or what?"
STOP BREATHING MY AIR.
dumbest thing Ive read online today? Shiney happy comments about new secretaries and their former employment
That forum is like a train wreck of politicians, I just can't stop watching!

Preach it Ben!
Great flying spaghetti monster, the guy that has camber plates and bolts is hee-lare-ious!
I lose a little more faith in humanity every time I click a link on FF.
Idiocracy has come to life.... earlier than the movie predicted.
Stop poking the "Bear of Stupidity" for when it finally strikes, it will strike with great vengeance and fury.
In other words, be careful or they may find their way here and then Paradise may be lost....
Fighting Stupid on the internet is like trying to survive a Zombie movie, eventually you either have to lock yourself away from everything and everyone or go out in a blaze of glory. No one ever survives it completely.
this is even far worse than focusfanatics ever got.......for a change, I'm sitting this one out.
This by far made me have to break out the airduster to clean the soda from my keyboard though.

I'm looking to buy a computer to setup my forte? Does anyone know one that works on forte? I had hear about the aem and rrm.. lmk what is better and what recommends me. Thanks for your help..

Loosen your definition of econobox to "anything that isn't a big block V8" and I can think of one reason.
Only way to get anything resembling acceleration out of a 3000GT.
I should have a die cut vinyl that says "I fear no Forte" to put on the '91s rear bumper. Then post the picture there. I bet many butthurts would ensue at learning 99% of them are slower than a 22yo taurus.

There's a guy at work with both camber bolts and plates on his wrx.
He said that he can adjust the plates to tilt the strut in then adjust the bolts so the tires are sitting straight up but still have all the camber he needs to fit as low as he is.
Very smart guy, actually, but I really don't get how making an adjustment at the strut bolt to tilt the top of the wheel back out doesn't leave you in the same boat you would be in if you just lowered it an stayed around 0* camber....?

Smart he may be in general, but in this case you're absolutely right.
Kinda sounds like he's just trying to move the wheel inboard. The camber plates let him tilt the struts inward, moving everything above the ball joint inward, proportionally to how far away from the ball joint and toward the plate it is (so it's only going to be a small [EDIT: tiny] move for the lower hub to strut bolt). Then the camber bolt adjusted for positive camber stands it back up, resulting in a tiny inboard move (I assume this is what he needs to clear the fender to get it to "fit as low as he is").
It'd be an awful lot easier to just run a wheel with more offset
There is a part truth here, some would do just that due to their vehicle completely lacking proper geometry in the suspension design......but we all know subaru would never mess anything up.....ROFL!

lol this is exactly what I thought...
And he's still at around -3-4* camber anyway. I guess maybe he would need to run even more neg camber if he didn't have two adjustments?
It's an awful lot of E36 M3 to do to not make a big difference though, as you said. lol
Oh well, I'll let him keep going with it, when I get my coilovers w/plates I'll forego installing the camber bolts as well=] lol
also, this is a classic response to idiocy (guy went like 12k miles before he got his FIRST oil change) from long ago, courtesy of our very own bobzilla on forteforums
bobzilla said: As well they should. There's no excuse for waiting 9k miles for the first oil change. If you can't afford a $6 filter and $12 worth of oil, then you can't afford a new car.
I didn't put it together for a while (not paying attention to people's usernames on that site is probably most of it) but Bobzilla has been slaying the forteforums folks for quite some time. lol

But (and it a big, iffy, but) don't Subies do weird things, like massive torque steer with wrong offset wheels?

You should see my last couple posts....
If we're banning people based on what they have brought to the table... the entire Forum will be empty. I have yet to find a useful post, topic or conversation on here. Now, if I wanted to learn how to "race" an automatic 2.0 car while filming with my cell phone, or add some "stage 2 lights" or go all "stretch and poke" this would be perfect. Sadly, I want to do real things.
You'll need to log in to post.
