Just started..... TCM (Turner Classic Movies).
Once upon a time that was my dream.
Can you imagine surfing in South Africa amongst all those Great Whites? Me either, any more.
my uncle owned this movie on reel to reel (8mm 16mm?). the whole family watched it every summer (at the beach).
i pop it in on dvd every now and then...just not the same.
The kids and I watch it about once a year. The two older ones remember me surfing (badly). They like to dream, I like to dream, we all love the movie.
First saw the movie as a opening film for a multi film night at my local drive in. Sadly the drive in is no more but the movie is still with us. Made on a budget but still something you would want to do if you had the chance.
For the un-indoctrinated, here is the whole movie shown in 7 segments on youtube.

I hate you for this... I'm watching part 4 on youtube right now and here goes my Hodaka bug again. (and Bultaco)
Now my wife has to hear me jabber about that old Ace 100 again.
That is a great movie, as well as "The Endless Summer 2", made in the mid 90s with Pat O'Connell and Wingnut.

I had an Ace 100 and a Super Rat. I'm always trolling for a chrome tank Combat Wombat.
