...and it showed up as Featured Ride today.
Got a raise last month.
Got my Canadian permanent residence 3 weeks ago.
Bought a race car last week.
Got a bonus yesterday.
Just had lunch at a nice Indian place with a co-worker.
My wife reminds me that it's important to reflect on the good things that happen to you every day.
Took The Wife to get a nerve blocking injection in her hip Monday morning to try and get some of her pain under control. Last night after work we took a 15 minute walk which we haven't done in months and so far today she didn't need her cane. If the shot they have planned for her back works this well she should have a very good summer.
Glad to hear she is doing better Wally. Those nerve block shots are amazing when they work.
Got a job interview lined up for Tuesday. Feelin' good about this one!
Good luck with the interview. With the nerve pain she was having they were pretty confident it would work. The next step she's a bit nervous about. They are considering cauterizing the nerve because of the problems it's causing.

GOOD LUCK … KNOCK UM DEAD
Actively became more involved in the local metal scene over the past two months. Name is being recognized by bands & promoters alike & I am working with a number of promoters to start booking shows as well as scouting new area. Working with others on creating a new community driven blog/zine, as well as moderating a new local metal enthusiast group.
Ordered one set of wheels for the RX7 and agreed to buy another from a seriously generous forum member. Having more wheels on the way makes me happy. At least until my wife finds out. For now, happy.
Have my first date in a while coming up! She's a Porsche girl and has done track days! ::fingers and toes crossed::
I got an extension at work so now my last day is June 30th instead of April 30th which has given me a lot longer to find a job. The retention bonus went up if I make it to June 30th and if I leave between April 30th and June 30th I still get the original retention bonus.
Also I had a phone interview with a major firearm manufacturer a couple days ago.
I actually have weekends off again and have got to spend an entire weekend with my wife! No more days off in the middle if the week woohoo!
Although I was told yesterday that I might have a cataract in my right eye, I'm still in a great mood. I got my itinerary for my first paying race gig in about 2 years. This time next week I will be at Circuit of the Americas with Duke of Understeer. We have a coral of about 6 or 7 cars we will be watching.
I feel pretty damn good. Looming surgery be damned.
Two races at the indoor kart place earlier this week and was stuck in the mid 20 second range, went again last night and broke into the mid 19 range. I've been once 6 years ago, my 11 year old has never been and was in the 21 second range, fast would be 18s or better, we're slow but I'm pretty proud. Feels good brah.
I found out that my boss is leaving. I'm hoping I can slide into his job. I'm the only other person in the department.
Freedom from nursing school!!!
No more care plans were you are always wrong and bleed red ink!
Hallelujah!!!

I'm in a damn good mood after a first date I have had in a couple of years last night. A cup of coffee turned into a 3 hour chat. It was awesome.
I've finally started PT at my new job and I frickin' love it. Hopefully the fella I'm replacing gets his clearances next week and can start his new gig so I can go FT and bid my current company adieu.
