This doesn't look bad. There's so much controversy about the cast, but I don't see a problem with it and I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan.
Apparently I'm also racist for standing up for Leslie Jones' character, which is a whole other story. 
I want to go see it. Good cast. My wife is looking forward to Thor as the secretary.
As with most movies, I'll see it after the DVD becomes available. It's got potential and I'm glad to see they didn't do a re-stamp of the old one.

I am very happy it is not a complete "reboot" but a continuation of the original story. I wonder how many easter eggs to the originals will be in it?
I won't get to see this till I get home from work, but please tell me there's a reason it's an all female cast. Please tell me female scientists isn't a punchline. I haven't really been following the news about the movie, and plan to just watch it when it...hits Netflix. (At least I'm honest.)
I really want it to be good though.

reboots piss me off. continuations not so much. i might like this one. and if they do not bring back hi-c ecto-cooler i'll be super angry.
So wait, Egon is the only one of the originals who is dead, right? Can't they just use the same guys? Wouldn't it be a much better movie to see where they are now, all these years later? I mean, the new (girls, all of them?) can be new hires or whatever, but what happened to the old guys? There are so many good jokes there to bring back.
I'd be surprised if the old crew isn't in the movie at all.

Plus they have said from the beginning that this is a Reboot, but for some reason in the trailer they mention what happened 30 years ago.

For the record, I have no problem with the cast. All four of them are funny ladies who I've enjoyed on SNL and in their movies.
But the trailer just doesn't look good. The jokes don't land for me.

it looks horrible because it looks like a typical Melissa McCarthy movie with some women that happen to be recent or current employees of Lorne Michaels thrown in just because they didn't want to look to hard to find someone better.
I was not hugely impressed with official trailer, but someone recut it and it's much better....

It's already done and being taste tested!! I am way too excited for ectocooler. Just have to wait for it to be released.

Orbitz were weird. The little bubbkes didnt taste like anything. But given crystal Pepsi came back, surge came back (twice if you count the time they called it vault and marketed it against energy drinks) wewe cant be far. Now if i could just get my doritos with sharp corners....
