I prefer my quarters to look a bit scruffier, thanks.  I'm no pampered Empire loving credit trader

If they will charge me less, I would do a night or two in it...

Supposedly it is a two night adventure where you are on an interstellar cruise ship. You all show up on transport pods.  Once you settle in you can wander the ship and see aliens in the lobby, or visit the bridge and see the captain and crew.

It's really good for my bank account that I'm so far away. Wife won't get on a plane!

I love Disney parks and I love Star Wars. We went to Galaxy's Edge last December and I spent way too much money. And I'm pretty sure I was super annoying to my patient wife when I was geeking out over all the little details while waiting in line for some of the attractions. A two day immersive experience? Count me in. I just need to convince wife...

One person, three day, two night all inclusive is $3300 or so

That would actually be kinda cool. I'm just way to cheap. Or broke. Or both.crying

On a semi related note, I went to the original SW in the theater, back in the late 70's Saw the next two on tv. Did see all the "prequels" in the theaters.

That's steep. Prohibitively steep. But I'll start saving. Probably by the time I can afford it comfortably, #1 will be old enough to be interested and tag along.

I'd rather go to Hawaii for that price.

Same, 100%.  I'm not a diehard fan though.

I still wish I had gotten a Storm Trooper figure with my face on it though.  They had a scanner that would do that back when the May the 4th events were hosted at Disney.

I'd rather do a Disney trip than Hawaii. I know I'm in the minority on that.

$3300 = 3-6 project cars/motorcycles providing more than three days of challenge and entertainment; sex is optional.

You may get screwed on one of the project cars, close enough

I'm a Star Wars fan but if I'm spending that much, I'm getting away from people, not going where they are.

I have pissed off my wife multiple times when she wanted to go to Disney World and I told her have fun, I'll take my share  of the Disney Tax plus "pampered pet" dog boarding costs and use it to buy car parts.  We are talking close to $4000 here.  Last time we took a week long trip the pet boarding charge for the place she picked out for her fur babies was $1100.

On the other hand that may be why we are getting divorced.   Or at least one of the reasons.

I was thinking, "I'd rather stay at the hotel where they filmed the Uncle Owen's farm scenes." Well, if Libya gets to the point where the continuation of politics by other means doesn't spill over into Tunisia, at least.

This means Disney has a narrow window of opportunity before their own prices creep up and a price war breaks out between Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic.

As a die-hard fan and 501st Legion member with an actual stormtrooper costume, this still intrigues me.  We would have been going to Galaxy's Edge in a few weeks, if not for the plague.

I wouldn't really say the hotel is a comparison to actual space though either

Trips to Uranus are much cheaper if you meet the right person.
