I drink my soda warm. Does that make me a commie?

I didn't know that many people drank soda. I'm not one for non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, but when I do get one, I at least make sure I get pop.

Damn yankees with your pop.

Us "cultured" folk here in the south call it soda.

It's soda throughout the civilized world. Coke is a delightful white powder.

Sorry, if you aren't in the south, you aren't in the civilized world.

What's delightful is liberating a particularly large booger during a pick n flick session. Don't act like you.don't know.

I call it soda or Yeti fuel and I drink far too much of it. 3rd shift requires copious amounts of caffeine and where I work I don't trust open containers of anything (like a coffee maker), so no coffee. Too much asbestos and too many chemicals. So it's diet dew by the 24 oz bottle.

Im a diet dew by 1.5 liter guy myself. Only a dollar and more easy to hold while driving than a two liter. And yes, they're room temperature because im a savage according to woody.

I get the 24 oz six packs because they're easy to move from machine to machine and they are 3 for $10 at the local schnucks.

It's going to be cool and rainy here today. I'm thinking it's a good day to go cruise the national forest.

Soda talk got me thinking:

I live on the sweet tea line. Just a bit north (Cincinnati) and they default to unsweetened (shudder). In Lexington they default to sweet tea but most places have the option for that hideous unsweetened swill. Go down to Knoxville though and you're likely to get run out town on a rail if you even suggest that tea should be anything less than hummingbird food.

Not much in the Redbox kiosk last night, settled for Jersey Boys, didn't expect much tho.

Although I was just a grade school kid in the 60's I didn't realize how many of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons songs had stuck in my brain. Spent the morning on YouTube watching their videos. By the late 60's my choice of music changed drastically but that was some good music back then. Kinda took me back to a different time.

Thought the movie was pretty good, behind the scenes story was interesting. Surprised to learn Clint Eastwood directed this movie, nice job.

Might hafta surf more oldies.

It was a little disappointing. The way things were rumbling I expected to open a wormhole to the past or maybe tear a small hole in the fabric of space time. In the end... it was just a decent schit.

Particleboard pool tables suck. Especially when plumbing leaks on them and they grow ridges.

(bought with the house, hoped it was decent, didn't check for slate. It isnt)

out of sequence by several pages, but my dad used to say something like that when i was a kid. i can't remember the whole thing, but it was something like:

"cures moles, voles, sore shiny happy people, __, ___, and pimples on the pecker."

two blanks are words i don't remember. i also have no idea what a vole is. i think i was about 6 years old when i first heard this.
