The stress of the election

Dealing with it by eating left over Halloween candy, Washing it down with Amaretto on the rocks ( got a 1.75 liter bottle)  and Binge watching :Bringing Up Baby  on TCM 

Oops!  Don't want a reputation for frivolity I am eating White Castle Sliders. 
oh and Yes, SWMBO is away. 

I miss living near a White Castle.  

I wouldn't stress too much. Either way it comes out, we're likely looking at months of legal battles and general shenanigans. 
Poor a drink, order a pizza, sit back and watch the circus. 

Man, I want some white castle.

Spending too much on Ebay and Amazon Prime. I need to stop that. Nobody needs a 40 year old Ampex tape deck and a coyote calendar. 

Also doing too much pizza and drinks. 

No stress.  Inner peace.  I meditated and found peace a couple weeks ago and just block out the negative

I find solace in the house and senate being divided between the parties. 
 

No matter who wins, the divided congress will prevent them from doing too much. So while it may limit the amount of good that can be done, it will also limit the amount of bad.

They are miles away from here but I have two boxes of them in my freezer. It's gonna be a long, cold winter.

I'm glad it's working. I've been doing some myself and it's really made life much more bearable. 

No stress about that here, too many problems that actually affect me directly to deal with to worry about that.

4.5 hours to white castle. I'll get there some day

I was spoiled by live walking distance from one. Frozen just aren't the same. 

I will provide a saying I like to use in pretty much any political situation:

"I don't know what you are expecting or hoping for.... but prepare to be disappointed"

Obviously, best to try not to worry.

I do like pie.

In N Out is way better than White Castle. I read about WC for years. Then lived next to one next when in STL. Tried it out for a few months. Don't know what the hype is about.

WhatABurger is better than InO.  InO is just grease in burger and fry form.

I knew my candidate wasn't winning but I stressed for a while last night. Then with the circus today I decided I'll survive either way. The split house and senate should keep things in check

That's not really a fair comparison. White Castle is definitely drunk craving food. In n Out is an experience.

Maybe that is why I cannot appreciate it, as I have never had a drink in my life.
