I'm on board for the ride so to speak. I think Lance will only be a factor if Contador has to drop out otherwise he'll just be a side story.
His performance in the Giro was m3h. I don't believe it was a smart decision for him to go ahead with it, but who am I to judge.
I wonder if he's really in it to win... or if he knows he's clean and is just screwing with the French doping police....
Hmmmmmmm.
A couple years ago...did Floyd Landis really race doped up or were the French doping police determined that another American wasn't going to win?

He lost his appeal in a US court. Game over.
I will be following it for sure. I had a great time watching the Giro this year, cheering on Di Luca as he stayed constantly agressive and never gave up.
I think for the Tour I will be rooting for the Schleck bros.
I doubt Lance will be a GC contender for long.

Doesn't mean much-steroids are a legal bogeyman right now. Steroid charges are pretty much a ticket to guilt. Hell, everyone is so convinced that steroids are going to ruin society that the US govt stepped in to try to "clean up baseball".
He tested positive for testosterone.
It will be interesting to see how Lance handles being a domestique. I think it would be nice to see Contador win another, but I always root for Euskaltel-Euskadi - just like Orbea bikes, like their manical fans, and their usually fruitless attacks, and the color orange.
Stage 3 - good stage for the last hour after 2.5 hours of pretty French countryside and discussions of bulls and horses by the commentary team. I won't post any spoilers here as I'm sure many DVR it or watch the 8pm re-air but good stuff, and now we'll see what happens to Astana's team tactics.
