This picture makes me happy. I love seeing big iron getting tossed on a track

This picture gives me bad ideas, for what to do with my Magnum. And by bad ideas, I mean good ideas.
As a young kid, my neighbor had one of the VW Square Backs. I've always thought these things are cool.

Are those Mustang Cobra wheels?
Honda could have brought this Stateside as the 1st-gen Acura TSX, but didn't:
Instead they waited for the dorkier 2nd-gen version, and declined to offer it with a manual trans. I blame half of that on the US emissions and economy standards which insist that 2 cars that are mechanically identical except for number of doors are treated as 2 completely different vehicles and require completely new certifications.

Apparently this thing sold for 70,000 british pounds, whatever that works out to be. Also, it makes near 800 HP!

The previous version was much prettier, but never offered here.
For a horrid example...need I say more... My parents had two Pintos when I was really little, a hatch and a wagon. I have vague memories of riding in the cargo area of the wagon when I was about 5 or 6 years old.

No, it really isn't. It's just older.
