I realize I'm still bitter that my parents replaced mom's Panther Country Squire a year before I had my permit with an Acclaim.

I really...REALLY want one of these. I used to get a fizzy sensation in my gentleman sausage when I looked at it.
But then I saw this..

The Detroit auto show had a few of the Guilia sedans. They were dead sexy. But this would be my choice.

I was practically giving this thing away when I had it for sale on here 4 years ago :(

It's funny, when these were available I didn't think much of them, but not when I see one I really dig it!
More forbidden fruit...
Falcon XR6 Wagon!

Oh boy !
That thing is AWESOME ! LOVE the stance. It's pretty close to my (realistic) daily driver Dream Car. Make mine a white 1995 (new instrument cluster, no moving seat belts) and then tint the windows.....Perfection !! ! !....... Oh give me a minute while I wipe the slober away..... DROOL !
p.s. I dig the front plate there too, wink.
I love wagons. Always have. When I moved to Colorado and lived at 8500 ft, I bought a VW Quantum Syncro Wagon - very similar to the Audi 4000 Quattro. Locking center and rear diffs, I added stiffer (but not lower) suspension, custom exhaust and opened intake, etc. Little stuff. Car was awesome and unstoppable in the snow. I routinely drove it on trails in the woods pushing snow up and over the hood. Ended up owning about 4 of these panzer-wagens.
Later, I bought a 1979 Audi Fox Automatic Wagon. Did a close-ratio 5 speed swap, custom lowered suspension, custom exhaust, vintage striped Recaro seats, bigger brakes etc. Awesomely fun little car.

Also built a 1988 VW Fox 2dr wagon. Same basic recipe - lowered, stiffer, bigger brakes, lightened flywheel, short shifter, Recaro, cam, exhaust, intake, etc. Great fun car that had lots of utility, and more thumbs up than any Rabbit I've ever owned (like 15 of them).
