I put a bike down at speed.
I now drive a Miata. It's safer.
She's just wrong on this one.

Do you need help escaping?
You don't have a life insurance policy do you?

Obviously he does, hence her allowing the motorcycle.
To be fair, a real race car is going to be an order of magnitude more expensive than riding a bike occasionally.
Yes, I have insurance, but I also wouldn't ride occasionally. The last time I had a bike in the fleet I rode it 9 months out of the year daily. June, July and August are the only months I really skipped. You can only take off so many clothes. Although I am willing to bet the months would shift around a bit living where I do now.
Things my wife learned 30 years ago. She doesn't pick my cars, just like I don't pick hers.
Good luck with that.

What you didn't learn this year is the difference between "maybe" and "may be".
ROTF!!! You win the interweb phrase of the week with that one.
Nowhere near as notable: Happy wife, happy life.
I just kept my bike on road
Had my Friends bike and gave him mine.
