Lookin' pretty real now, you so crazy Kim Jong Un! But I have to disagree with this:
Anyone who has witnessed the damage one single U.S. .50 caliber round does to the human body will shudder just trying to imagine a battery of 24 heavy machine guns being fired at human beings. Bodies would be nearly pulverized. The gut-wrenching viciousness of such an act would make “cruel and unusual punishment” sound like a gross understatement.
With that number of guns it would be a very quick death, so it's actually a rather humane execution method, even if it is gruesome and about as messy as possible. I'd take it over one of the experimental lethal injections the US has been doing lately.
Can't say as I'd argue with you GB. It would be quick. One round of the 14mm would be game over, and quick.
The comment about the Hubble is correct. Only pointed down and called "Keyhole". The problem with spy satellites isn't their ability to see what's on the ground, but where to look and interpret what is being seen, it's still a REALLY big planet.
One of the technologies I read about a while back was if you could aim a spy satellite at an individual and turn the gain up to 11 the computers could translate the "disturbances in the air in front of their mouths" into real time audio. How's that for tin foil hat time?
