Just watched it and though I've never seen the episode before, it looks like an old one.
The reasonably priced car is the older one and the fast lap board doesnt have the Gumphert (spelling?) yet on the list. But I could be wrong.

what is the RPC? It used to be a Chevrolet Lacetti...I think its a Suzuki Leona?

Twas very nice. I liked the Ascari even tho I thought I wouldn't.
And I'd have picked anything but the Porsche.
Very entertaining. The only car show that my wife will ask to watch.

The Chevy Laceti is the current RPC with the Suzuki being the original one, which they only use for race car drivers now. The Suzuki was replaced at the end of the seventh season.
Sounds like it could have been the first episode of the seventh season?

... i can't watch bbcAmerica version anymore... they cut out so much stuff (have to fit commercials in there somehow)... but i'm thankful... it's how I was introduced to it :)
