Jalopnik is reporting that the USA version will get another season
Top Gear USA picked up for a second seasonTop Gear USA, the American version of the popular British motoring show, must have been popular enough for HISTORY as Jalopnik just confirmed the network's picking up TGUSA for a second season with hosts Rutledge Wood, Adam Ferrara, and Tanner Foust.
Despite receiving mixed reviews, a statement from the network cites the 60 million (total) who tuned into the ten episodes of the first season and the youngest audience ever for a HISTORY show. Top Gear's UK host Jeremy Clarkson says he's pleased about the move.

Me, too....I really enjoyed the USA show.
I don't understand the hate some people have for the USA show, or the rabid fanboy worship they have for the original UK version....maybe I'm not allophobic/xenocentric enough. IMHO, both versions are a good diversion - like most TV - and nothing more.
It really wasn't as good as the UK show, but it is plenty good enough to watch for another season.
Awesome, it gave me something to watch while that stupid Barrett-Jackson show is on
I'm happy they got another season, let's hope they do some sort of US vs. Britain challenge.
They did start out sketchy, but ended very well. I think they deserve a second season.
Here's hoping they adjust the hosts. They've absolutely, positively got to get rid of the Adam guy.
Nice. I just need to watch the last 6 episodes.

This right here. I did warm up to it towards the end of the season. Tanner started showing some personality, Rutledge got less annoying, and Adam was just as meh at the end as the beginning.
Adam Ferrera is the only funny one on the show, I don't know what you guys dislike about him so much. I'm unbiased, believe me, I hate New Jersey
I'm glad it got picked up for a second season. It definitely got exponentially better over the last 4 or 5 episodes.
I agree that they found their legs further on. The last show was as good as any adventure trip that Top Gear UK took. Lower budget of course but what do you expect for a first season?
