those roll cages were a little iffy aka not painted, and not rusted = new, would have been nice to at least say that the producers had made some safety mods. but still great show
Great show, but if they hadn't been driving like idiots they probably would have all made it. Not too impressed with their off road driving styles. Then again they did have to make sure something broke.
i saw a season finale pop-up when i watched it for next sunday, i thought.
anyways, i'm enjoying the show, but they've all been horrible at the interview. thats the biggest room for improvement, imo

Very true.
Many of the recent UK TG's have been running 70-80 minutes without commercials.
Our version is limited to 60 minutes with 20 minutes of commercials, they don't have the time per episode to develop the same type of stories and interviews in that time.
AWESOME! Best episode yet.
They are beginning to gel, but Adam still doesn't cut it.
What gets me is those overnight conversions with no warning and no planning and yet they always seem to come out with something. Oh wait, that's a comment about TGUK. But TGUSA also did that.
Episode 10 is going to be them looking back and talking about the first season.
I hope the show did well enough for them to get picked up for another season. It just keeps getting better, theres a lot they could do.
Getting better with every show +1.
The one thing I hate the most is someone will make a joke, and then another presenter turns and looks dead at the camera to reply. But as they get more comfortable, and as the writers and blockers start to figure things out I just see it getting better.
I keep missing the episodes when they come out. I'm always behind the power curve!
Honestly, yeah it is getting better and funnier. What everyone needs to realize is it's THE FIRST SEASON. Good lord haha wait a couple more to say it royally sucks massive kiwis. All in all, it just needs to be an hour long show, plain and simple, the UK guys do it, we should to and we should kind of do our own things instead of just "copying" the UK guys and NO SCRIPTS!
In reply to NickF40:
Are you implying that TGUK don't use scripts? because that is definitely false, they've just got 7 more years of practice in delivery.
the first season of TGUK kinda blew too, they had that fat dude that was not James May that bored the crap out of me.

the TGUK guys do that too, which probably has something to do with why the TGUS do it as well.
clarkson will make an off-color joke, the picture shifts to hammond's reaction, and he makes a face at the camera and carries on

Jason gets a lot of crap, but I didn't think he was bad....heck, I didn't think the show was bad back then, either. At least it was about cars, instead of being a "popular television soap".
