Re Hab Come To Prey!
Not the fastest, but I am learning and having a hell of a time doing it!
Oh yeah, Switchblade762 on the X Box. I play when I have time and am finished wth my Chemistry homework, or am on break, but always on Thursday night for the tgrm/Shpk 15 minute/45 enduro. The B-Spec is a ton of fun and once the tunes are finished and I can get my times down past the regular last place(race ya for it ranger!) I'll be good...it's a lot tougher to win here than the hopper lobby where I was hanging out way too much on my last semester break
I took some pictures of my mishaps in action, getting tagged and causing a big ol' wreck and a nice flip and side lay in two seperate Road Atlanta races, but have to wait until I can dig out another free Xbox Live code....
I had a 48hr code from one of those Porsche Expansion Pack emails. Then I have a 3mo free code still from buying the Xbox.

Really, cause we settled for a sawzall, a hammer, a concrete drill, and welding iron. I wish we had known earlier....
Are you guys playing with gearing at all? I feel like I'm missing something. Times fell off a little with the switch to sport suspension/brakes, but I'm in the 1:05's fairly consistently.

No gearing adjustments. The only real adjustments you can make to these cars are air pressures, sways and diff settings.
I was just noticing the lack of Nissan that seems to be happening. I looked at the tire size for it, since it seemed to be a little bit hard to control. It was at 185/65-15. Taking it out to 205/60-15 makes it a MUCH better car to drive, and puts it much closer in lap times to the rest of the cars at Iberian.
My best clean time was a 1:02.7 in the Mazda 2. I ran some dirty ones a little faster by cutting turn 1 a little bit more but I'm pretty satisfied and will be on tonight till 10 if anyone wants to come practice.
I don't have enough fingers and brain power to do the manual clutch with the controller, so I am stuck with 1:07's on a GOOD day.... And yes, even missing shifts, manual is WAY faster. It gives you more rpm to play with, which is completely asinine, IMO.
Did you switch to the A button? It's no different pressing A+B or A+X than it is to just press B or X.
And the only thing that changes the RPM is motor mods.
No, the auto trans lowers the RPM available. It shifts the M2 at about 5k. Manual trans makes that 6k-ish. If you saved the Sears Point or Road Atlanta races, go watch my telemetry, I was in Auto for those races. Compare it to yours and you will see the difference. That is why you all just pull away from me all the time. Not that I am complaining or anything, I just suck at driving right now and why I am in Auto.

You are using the clutch right? That is definitely a fast time. I think my best is a 1:02.9 but do pretty consistent 1:03.3 to 1:03.5. In the Fiesta that is.
Every other track I am sucking on.

The orange M2 is also an auto. I can't drive stick on Forza while holding the sleeping baby.

I look forward to an epic battle with you for last place

Don't forget about me.

Anyone that wants to try the clutch, do this. I was skeptical of the clutch until I switched these buttons and tried it. Took me about a race or two to get it down. This was going from manual to manual with clutch. If you are using auto, I would try going to manual first then move to the clutch. May take a little longer to learn but it becomes second nature.
Throw the idea of how a clutch works out of the window. You just have to press both the clutch and shift up/down button at the same time. You do not need to press the clutch, then the shift button while holding the clutch, and then let go of the clutch button. It is way more simple than people think. Just press two buttons at the same time.
