Just ran a clean lap on the ring with my stock '40 Ford Coupe. I welcome anyone to try and beat it.
Well I did it twice in a transit van. F and C class, so there!
What was your time?

PI was 100. It was completely stock.

Send or receive an invite. If I'm in a party, anyone is welcome to join.

So... Dumb question... How do I join/meet/whatever everyone?
stig, remind folks what your xBL Gamertag is, some of these threads are getting long, and we've got Forum ADD. Normally, I'd just give you mine and say send me a friend request..but I don't know if I'm getting on tonight.
One more period left in the game, then I'll try and jump on. I've been hogging the TV from Brad, so he has a night to watch his shows
Hmm yes, likely a good call. This thread is growing rapidly. Gamertag is thesaabstig.

I was just experimenting with the Fiat for the last hour, and I've got it pretty close. I went back to the first page to make sure of what I added and what was already on the car, and it GONE! I guess I should stop testing it, huh? From what I remember, it had no weight reduction, right? I just put the street weight reduc. and street flywheel on it, and it got it real close.
1:03.292 at Iberian by just adding the street wt. reduc. and a street flywheel.
I can add it again if everyone wants to keep it. You are right, it had full weight on it before
I'll be going to bed. Gotta be up at 5.
12:34.324 in the '40 Ford.
It took 19 secs. just to go 0-60!

Aww... I thought I had a chance at beating you in something other than drifting. No sense beating a dead horse, that was already done in a locked thread tonight.
So when I tune in Forza, I usually don't do much, just maybe some tire pressure and ride height, and then increase the rear sway bar slowly until I get what I want. Mutantracing gifted me his setup for the Kia, and I noticed he is using a lot less sway bar (both front and rear). I drove it against my tune and didn't see much difference in lap times.
I have a good understanding of what Chang a single sway bar does, but what happens when you just make both equally stiff or less stiff at the same time and by the same amount? Why would I ever want less total roll stiffness?
The tighter the corner, the more roll you want. High speed corners want less body roll. There won't really be any difference in lap times, just a difference in how stable the car feels, which could mean more consistent lap times over the course of the race.
The sport suspension doesn't have any ride height adjustment.
I run full sway stiffness on the 2 and currently cut 1:03.0 at Iberian full.
Let's get some last minute practice in tonight! I'm going into work late so I will be able to stay on for a while.
Definitely in for some stuff tonight! While angering 14 year olds with my Volvo 850 wagon drift car is fun, tis time for a switch.
I think the only adjustment I made on my 2 is adding a little camber...
Are we running suspension that allows camber adjustments? I was only using adjustable sway bars, differential, and tire pressure.
The suspension shouldn't be adjustable. Only sways, diff and tire pressures.
I should be on tonight. Testing and tuning right now
Oh right. That was before the switch to Sport suspension.

I should have been more specific... this was a general tuning question borne out of b-spec tuning. I'm using the correct suspension. Thanks for the responses.
On most tunes in forza I have race suspension, so I adjust camber and ride height. I've mostly avoid messing with springs and dampers, as I'm not sure what I'm doing with those.
I'll be on for practice tonight. What is the protocol for livery judging? Just what we see during the race? In that case, racerfink'll be in trouble when he goes away and hides from the field.

I'm clicking off 1:03.8xx like its my job, but I'd like to get under 1:03. I have tire pressures at 28 front, 26 rear, just trying to get heat in then sooner and tuning out under steer with rear bar. We'll see tonight.
I'll be on tonight. I am sure we will have a little crowd tonight to play as well. Fit_is_Slo, my little bro, Anti Stance should be on tonight
I've got truck owner things to do followed by my cousin's 21st at Fast Eddie's Bon Air all after I get three fillings.
Yeah, I will be on. I couldn't last night because of a meeting that went late and a little family feud incident.
I'm off tonight, so depending on when the kids go to bed, I'll be on....or on with the mic turned off!
"Rolling Chicane Racing" in da house!
