So are you guys running an "official" T/A points series after the B spec?
Also someone posted a BRE themed Versa in the club garage, any way I can get the tune gifted to me? I want to come "prey" with you guys.
Ummm... sorta. Due to turnout, maybe Friday's race should be viewed as a pre-season exhibition. If we get more interest, I'd be willing to run a season.
In related news, I will not be able to drive ths coming weekend, as I'm going to Pontiac for the Great Lakes Solo Series event.

Driving for real > driving in Forza. Good luck, dude!
EDIT: 1:01.148 Suzuka East, about 10 laps in the session.

Heh. Yeah, that was fun! Seems like every time I caught you, I'd make a mistake and had to reel you in all over again--until I ran the tires off, and couldn't catch you anymore. I noticed that I finished ahead of you by several places..were you the guy on the roof late-race down at 7a? Map for reference:
Yup, that was me on lap 18. 5th to 10th. Dropping 5 spots ain't bad for a late race rollover, though, I suppose
Agreed on the weight penalty system. No like.
Front page updated with dates for the upcoming races. I wont be on to update with times and results for the next couple of weeks.
Wishing everyone luck and hope to see this continue
I can be on to set up the room this week if necessary.
Also - was just reading through the schedule again - I think we may want to make the Catalunya National race a bit longer - maybe 30 laps? I ran a Rivals challenge in a B-Spec car a few days ago and was running :53s there.

Duke, do you need any of us to record finishing order, etc.? I missed saving the replay at Sears Point, but noticed that the replay I saved at Iberian did not capture the entire race. Last few laps were missing, seems like that last few is very instrumental regarding our finishing order.

I'm sure enough of us can write it down so we can record it.
Ran a 59.2 today my first 10 minutes on suzuka east. I'm sure breaking into the 58's is possible.

It doesn't matter how fast I run because I'm sure I'll roll within the first 58 seconds of the race anyway. Lol

Curbs are evil....they seek to unbalance all things suspension. You must resist their unsettling magnetisim
And it doesn't help that I run full sway bar stiffness. Thing wants to flip like a top! Haven't noticed any killer curbs on suzuka. I'm sure I will locate them on race day though. :/

Only turn I can think of that may cause a little unsettling is the right turn after the first hairpin.

And isn't there a little bump when you come off the long course into the cut through?

Man, I am retarded, I was thinking of Tsukuba. And even if it was Tsukuba we were talking about it would have been after the 2nd hairpin.
In reply to Anti-stance:
Not retarded, you just know how to pronounce "Tsukuba" properly. I get them mixed up all the time just because they sound so similar. "I say Suzuka, you say Tsukuba, let's call the whole thing offfffff..."

I had a friend that tried to pronounce it with a "T". I asked him to spell tsunami, he figured it out.
Sorry to everyone I hit tonight. Me and switchblade had some good back of the pack battles though!

heck yeah, darn good racing! Redline is my real nickname for the way I ride/drive. The 'switchblade' comes from a scar on my arm from a chicano that tried to tak eme lunch money years ago and my first real kick boxing defence really worked. he ended up with a hyperextended elbow, bloodied face and KO'd with a scar across his palm I gave him from that damn switch knife that scarred my arm on his initial attack. 7.62 is my favorite caliber PM inbound poopshovel
Either people have gotten quiet on practice times or I'm gonna be up towards the front on qualifying. I know which one I'm thinking. How many of you have made it into the 58's on Suzuka? I just laid down a 0:59.232.
I need to practice. I may get on early tomorrow. I see a bunch of people on when I start watching Netflix but I figured it is for T/A.
My best on Suzuka is low 1:01. It's getting frustrating. Can't figure out what I'm
doing wrong. Down for some back of the pack racing tomorrow night though!

Oh, you're gonna be up front... I got quiet on my practice times because I haven't beat my low 1:01 yet.
