I've just spent the better part of my morning reading this thread. Because of you all, I will be picking up the game tonight on my way home. My Bro-in-law just moved in with us and has an Xbox. My home life will soon be doomed...

Now that we know the gamertag, all you have to do is wait until one of us who've checked on the thread today fires up the xBox. I'd send you an FR myself, but the ex-Chemo Kid has discovered Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons on Netflix, and probably won't be done for another hour & a half.
FWIW, the Suzuka race was short enough that I got the entire thing in a replay. Check my storefront (friedgrncorrado), I uploaded it for anybody who wants to see it.

We're lucky at Rd Atl. There's actually a land-line instead of radios.
Here's one of them on my own head:

I do pit/grid for NASA in SE. Man, land lines would be nice if it would work while you are moving up and down pit road. So much interference with other peoples race radios.
Hey guys, looks like I'm going to have to withdraw from the weekly series. So many things have come up lately that I just don't have time to practice anymore. I hope to be able to race with you again at sometime in the future. Thanks to all who welcomed me and gave me helpful advice. You guys are a lot of fun to run with. Good luck to all tomorrow night.

Oh, my buds who work Pit & Grid talk about that all the time. Weren't the "official frequencies" in the #%^&%^$^ Supplemental Regulations?
The whole thing in F&C at the moment is that there's a lot of folks that have forgotten that Race Control doesn't need a TV-style "play-by-play" of everyone who spins without hitting anything. "Control, Five...yeah, uh..car Five Two is uh..sliding up the track..and now, he's backwards...and now he's off the track..and now he's back on..we had the yellow out, but we're green again."
Most of the time, radios work just fine. But that E36 M3 going on when I've got a guy that had a straight-in impact to a concrete wall, and I need an ambulance RIGHT NOW stinks. On the radio, you have to wait. On a land line, all I have to do is yell "CONTROL, HIGH SPEED IMPACT AT TURN TWELVE, I WILL ADVISE!" loud enough.
EDIT: Apologies for the thread hijack..it's just that this kind of stuff really bothers me.

Dude, remember that you're not the only one who has to drop in & out. Don't dump on us permanently, just come run when you can! Remember, it's not really about demonstrating your Forza skills, it's just running with people who actually know something about motor racing.
Mrs. Dustoff made dinner reservations with friends, so I guess my debut will have to wait until next week.
I was cutting 1:08s yesterday, occasionally I get a .1 instead of a .3. Haven't been able to get on today.
Last night was pretty consistently low 1:08's for me. Still not happy with my sway bar tuning though, and with work running late today there were no time to practice more. Well, here goes.
I decided not to run again until I have a headset. I know it's berkeleying annoying. Might join you guys for the "afterparty" in a few unless you're doing the trans-am thing.
You'll need to log in to post.
