I have been trying each car in competition to see which one gives me the best race. So far the Yaris and the 2 are my fastest cars. The Ford is fast but too heavy, the Versa weighs a ton, and the little 2 just seems to work since I got the sway bars set up right yesterday(I think maybe it's the Sahlen's Livery that makes it faster, I swear it is...those hot dogs make darn good fuel!). Now to work on the clutch...

Are you finding that braking sucks ass compared to the 2? I can't brake anywhere near as late as you do with the 2 in T1.
High ride height, coupled with skinny tires, makes for dramatic braking and cornering. Once the tires heated up, I could get into 1 pretty deep. All about managing the weight transfer.

Don't know what you guys are running, but after about 30 mins of practice I'm cutting 1:29.1's pretty regularly. I'm sure there is a 1:28.999 in the future!
I am happy for you. And by that, I mean I hate you Tons of practice. Best CLEAN lap is 1:31.3. I still don't have a firm grasp on T1 & 2. Can't ever seem to get them to "flow". I think I could knock a second off there.
So far it looks like I'll be bringing up the rear with 1:32's and only sneaking in a 1:31 with some luck. At least I got the car feeling stable so I can keep it on the track.
1:28.040 with the Fit. Fit is fast.

Nice! Yea, I'm getting the 1:32's with the Mazda. I blame the driver. ;)
Damnit!!! First race Mrs. Poop was milling about. Second race, balls deep into a decent lap; dead batteries. Scrambled around trying to rob batteries from other devices...apparently I'd already done that. Oh well. Better tonight than tomorrow!!!
...robbed batteries from baby toys. Game on!
Aaaaand those ones are dead too. Sorry dudes.
Rechargeable battery pack and charge cable FTW. I keep the controller plugged in during race nights...
Gotta have fresh batteries, poop, cause I'm expecting a 29.1 out of you tonight!
Looks like (if I can make it) I'll be the back-marker tonight. 20 minutes of practice yesterday could only net me mid-33's... Oh well, someone's gotta be 16th.

I'm gonna make you work for the coveted dead last.
Although, I seem to have trouble keeping the car stable.

I would be thrilled with a 1:30.99. Had a dirty 1:31.1 last night. I've got all the elements down. Just need to string them together.
Just got a 1:31.6 dirty and 1:32.4 clean. Maybe enough for mid pack...
Weird. Wednesday night I was cutting high 1:30s like clockwork. Last night I hit a wall at 31.5. Haven't been on today yet..
Bleh consistent 1:32's......and yeah. Tried using the clutch, ain't happening, nope...no way in hell.
See you guys at Catalunya.....I'll be the one in last place
I will be getting on in about an hour, maybe sooner. I don't even know what track we are on this week.
Cool, I am gonna get on now.

Well, we haven't had 16 since week 1, so 13 or 14 should be possible. :)
We had 16 at Sebring Club. We didn't finish with 16, but...
1:30.8. One Dogfish Head 90 Minute, two stiff vodka tonics, and mama has been craving a shot of tequila for a year and a half, so we just did that. Feelin good. Feelin pumped. Racin for Jesus.

L. Ron Hubbard and Tom Cruise just cured that little alcohol issue you're describing. Your needle is floating.
Sitting in 5th and the berkeleying box froze up on lap 7 - no bueno
