It's 3:15AM. Me & FGC just invented a drink. I wanted to call it "Rape on the Beach...in West Virginia...When you were twelve." -but he insisted upon "Drunken Iberian."

Thursday nights don't work for me...Fridays are better, but I will probably only run parts of the series as I have free time, so don't change the day just for me.
Thurs. or Fri. nights at 8:30 works for me.
Again, please send Graefin 10 a friend request.
I like the Mazda2 and the Yaris BUT, mine both need a vertical fin to keep them going straight in the straights. Sears Point is a good example. Going through the sweepers sets up a high speed wobble back and forth with both of them that I can't seem to dial out. Probably sway bars. Anyone else encounter this? Any suggestions? Don't tell me to just get off the throttle, I don't want to do that.

Do you run the wheel or controller? Also do you use simulation steering or normal? You can't change caster enough to have any negative effects on straight line stability.
In reply to AtticusTurbo27:
Controller, and I don't know about steering type. I'll have to check into that. Thanks!
Simulation steering takes a lot of getting used to, especially if you're using it on the controller.

I want the recipe as well. And I'm calling it rape on the beach... In West Virginia... When you were twelve.

Evan Williams, Diet Root Beer, garnished with one of those little candy root beer barrels.
Can I substitute the diet for regular and call it Anal Rape on the Beach... In West Virginia... When You Were Twelve?

No, I meant 8:30 Eastern (5:30 Pacific). Gotta have enough time to drive home, kiss the wife, and turn the XBOX on!

Ah, I was thinking you were thinking 8:30 West Coast. Yea, we can do 8:30 eastern.
Update
Kia Rio gets a 3hp bump with a "Street" air filter.
What do you guys think about going to stock brakes and sport suspension?
Throwing in a vote for 9PM instead of 8:30. I really need to figure out a way to do the headset. FGCorrado is one funny motherberkeleyer to listen to. I felt like an idiot "texting" on an Xbox.
Have there been any changes to the rules since pg 1?
I second the vote for 9pm.
I also second the vote for the street air filter for the Kia. It is definitely down on power. I was running really consistent laps with it and seems down on power.
How about sport brakes instead of stock or racing so there won't be a fade? I am good with the sport instead of race suspension as well.
Sport stuff sounds better than race stuff, 9PM sounds great, Friday sounds good, but Thursday works, too.
JJ was up all friggin night last night so I built a Mazda2 (in the Club garage, Orange w/ Blue stripes) and lapped Iberian full a dozen times, got down to a 1:08.5? IIRC? Fun car!
Ok, So, 9 PM eastern, 6 PM west coast on Friday.
We will start with a 10 minute practice heat with a 5 minute intermission, then the 10 lap "time attack" format for qualifying, followed by another 5 minute intermission for beers and bathroom breaks, then the 30 lap Heat race.
Sound good?
