The street brakes are closer to what are on the actual cars. They won't fade either for the race distance we're using.
If we're gonna run this Friday, we've got to button down the rules SOON.
I like the street brakes, but I want to keep the race suspension.
I'll differ to those that know best though.
I'm in for 9:00PM Fridays.
Well, we can either do Stock, Sport or Race brakes. Not all cars have an option for Street brakes. I am open to what you guys decide.
I am going with what Racerfink says. Street brakes or whatever. Just do it soon so we can adjust our braking zones or else Friday's race will be real interesting.
Sport Brakes please.
Sport suspension as well, too. The builds right now feel too fast and planted to accurately reflect real B-Spec cars (not that I've driven any in real life).
That's the problem with Forza, we tend to "over-mod"...
UPDATE:
All cars now use Sport Suspension and Sport Brakes. I have updated the front page with updated Performance Index numbers and have added horsepower and weights.
If a car doesn't have street brakes listed, it's because it already has the equivalent of that part on the car. That goes for any car in the game, really. Several of the high end cars don't list a race suspension, transmission, or diff, for example. That's because they already have that on the car.
Fri. night @ 9:00 east. sounds good to me. I'm really looking forward to this even though I know it's going to take me quite a while to get up to speed.
I bought an external hard drive today so hopefully I'll be able to save the replays. I also bought a headset so you guys can hear what hillbillys sound like.
Jesus Christ. I thought I was doing alright running 1:06's and 1:07's with the occassional 1:05! You guys are running 1:03's and 1:02's???

Witness the magic that is the manual clutch. I've tried it (not enough practice to get any good with it), but it makes my hands hurt. Even after 4 beers and a BC powder.
Duke, post up a pic of that close lap where we were all going into the carousel, that has to look awesome!!!!
The clutch probably dropped a half to a full second off of my time.
There are people running all kinds of times, so don't think the whole field is doing 102s and 103s, that is not the case at all.

This.
It's just more fun to run with real racers/autoXers/fans. At least we try not to hit each other. But like real racin' sometimes it just happens. At least it doesn't take real money to fix..
We went down to the SPORT Weight Reduction for the Ford. It has brought it in line with the others in terms of lap time now
Way to set the bar dudes! Down to consistent 1:05's with a best of 1:04.8. If you think I'm content to run mid-pack, ya'll have lost your damned minds!
You'll need to log in to post.
