Used Spodie anyone?

Cruising Seattle craigslist and found some used Spodie: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/zip/3113064282.html

I've had leftover spodie in the past, but never posted a classified ad for it...

What the heck is spodie? It sounds like something that get's on George Michaels shoe at a rest top. I don't want any of that, new or used.

Spodie: A mixture of several kinds of alcohol, fruit juice, and cut up peices of fruit, that has formented over night...

Maybe "used" wasn't the term he was looking for, but a hangover rarely improves my use of language...

We call that "jungle juice" in Kansas. Almost always leads to the condition described at the end of his advert.

Just what were you searching for when you found that?

C'mon, Colbert even did a bit on "santorum" and his google problem. He said that Mr. Santorum was suffering a similar fate that political cartoonists had inflicted on Senator Cleveland B. Steamer in the late 19th century...
