Can confirm, GWAR is the answer. Met them at Dragon Con a lifetime ago. They let people try on their stage costumes and swing foam. The image of Brockie in a thong on stilts (and not much else) stomping down the dealer room midway still makes me chuckle. One of the nicest, friendilest bands I've ever met.
