Anyone in Maryland use the Vermont loophole for getting a title in Maryland?
What year car will this work on .
I have a 2003 Chevy Astro van that I need to get back on the road , but paperwork was stolen!
it's almost 20 years old , does that make it Vintage ?
Thanks
I don't know if it works. That is why I was asking. Google Vermont loophole or look on you tube. I personally have a 2002 Ranger languishing in my yard from family that came to me for some repair. After I took it apart I was told, "BTW, I do not have a title."
Any Marylander's use this loophole to get clear ownership of a vehicle?

Can't you apply for a lost title?

Never was in my name......and probably 5 plus years of back fees

You can check on the DMV website to see what fees it owes.
If you look for YouTube videos on applying for a Vermont title it'll tell you everything you need to know. A friend recently got a Vermont title with no problem. Don't know what's involved in converting it to a California title.
You'll need to log in to post.
