They are both cool. The stats on that AMG are simply mind numbing, and it's a true sleeper. No one would ever know what that thing is really capable of even with AMG badges as Joe Q Public has no idea what AMG is.

The other one is almost cool. I get the rat thing in this case, but even with the crappy paint the different green of the Desoto front end from the rear was bugging me. If they were both the same shade of green, even with the patina and rust I would have dug it. I didn't know I was OCD until now! But that would be a cool daily driver with the modern mechanicals, steering, brakes and suspension etc. The price tag was a bit eye watering though. Do you remember the 40's Chevy dropped on an 09's Impala cop cahassis that was at the challenge about a decade ago? 90% of the result for about 1.5% of the cost

I would take the Derelict. "Dripping with cool," very well said. I remember seeing that car in Hot Rod a long time ago and loved it. Still do. And I really like the concept.

The Derelict is rad as hell.

Jonathan Ward from ICON was on The Smoking Tire podcast a little while ago talking about the Derelict series, but I never looked up to see what they looked like. The ICON attention to detail and build quality is literally insane. A lot of aviation grade components used.
