That first Vette, with the far out 70's style paint rules. Get rid of the stock rally wheels for some proper Ansen slots and the flash back would be complete. It would be a sin to cover that paint.

I saw one like this for sale in Alabama, of AL-165. I actually thought about trying to talk the wife into buying it... dose that make me a bad person?

That all depended on where your vantage point was, if you were standing near them when they tried to run the autocross it really blew!

Hey hey HEY!!! There ain't but One True Abomination. And this is it.
I am not exactly the world's biggest Corvette fan but I like that shooting brake. Looks well done.
No, that's The Abomination. I posted a picture of an abomination. It's like the difference between The Man and the man.
Four observations:
When I was in high school, a kid had a '64 convertible that was customized along the lines of the first car shown. It was light metallic blue, with a hardtop, four non-retractable rectangular headlights, fender flares, side pipes, lots of pinstriping, Cragars and, of course, six tail lights. He wrecked it before graduation. I wish I had a photo.
I've seen a handful of the C3 wagons, though I haven't seen one in a long time. I always kind of liked them.
A guy in my hometown had a 4 door C3.
Even when I was a little kid, I recognized that Corvette Summer car as vile. I did, however, love the '71 Firebird from the same movie that had both Trans-Am and Formula hood scoops.
In reply to stuart in mn:
Is it bad that I immediatly reconised that as an N2A 789. The new Anteros model looks really clean tho.

Aside from the Trans Am Shaker Scoop.. that looks a LOT like the car I learned to drive in. I love that style Firebird
Don't have on ute conversions...

i brought 4 mounted 245/60/15 tires and wheels home in the 91 once with a passenger. sure we had the roof stuck behind the seats, one tire was sticking out the top of the car some, and the hatch was tied shut with a cel phone charger cord, but it was functional.
