Considering selling my truck and I put it on Craigslist just to see interest level. I received a text from Vroom.com. Filled out some information and received a offer that was the exact match of what I owed on the vehicle (I made what I owed available). Anybody have experience with them? Scam?

The company they are a legit startup. Lots of good press, no I don't have an actually experience beyond trying to get hired by them.

They are in line with Carmax as far as buying cars, etc. Most just use the MMR that Manheim Auction uses. What are the specs of the vehicle? I can look at Wholesale values.

For giggles I ran my Abarth through them for a quote. They came back $500 above Carmax or Autolenders (local chain) They might just get my car.

i guess if you're trying to get out from under the payments, breaking even isn't horrible.

Pretty much, and that's how most of these places operate. If you tell them what you owe you'll get boned 'cause that becomes their target number rather than value.

You could also try Kelly blue book instant cash offer. They give you a value and then you can go to a participating dealer and they will buy your car. May be worth a shot.

Vroom offered me $2k more then Kbb and almost $5k then a dealer. That's why I was wondering if it was legit.
