I had this happen for my current gig. 

They offered me the job the day after my 4th round of interviews. But it took nearly 4 weeks to get the offer in writing so I could THEN put in my two weeks notice. 

and.............. looks like they're going to miss this deadline as well. I wouldn't be nearly as pissed about this if they would not give a specific date that it will be done and then continue to miss it.

My guess is you'll hear on Tues. 

I wouldn't have minded that if they had said upfront "Hey. we're behind. We will try and have this done by the end of the week" instead of giving us (now) 2 deadlines and missing them. Don't promise something you can't deliver. 

Damnit I guess I'm off to the liquor  store again.
