Since everyone didn't mind the recording quality and asked for more......here's our cover of White Rabbit.
The caveats here are, I think this is the 3rd time thru. My wife, the vocalist you'll hear here plus sax and keyboards on other songs, jokingly told us that she wanted to cover the song. I told her if she mentioned it even as a joke it would end up being played because the drummer and bass player had both played it before. She is reading the lyrics off of her phone here. It's grown into a pretty cool song for us too.
You'll hear me make a pretty noticable mistake right away, my wife is still trying to get the rhythm and flow down of the lyrics ( who would have thought "Tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call"wasnt an easy thing to sing, right? Lol) and the solo is a work in progress, I didn't have a slide with me so any slide like sounds you hear are me using a mic stand. The end result is supposed to be as psychedelic as possible and later versions are way better. Same recorder and non mixer too
But what it does have is lots of energy and a badass bass groove, best listened to on a bass heavy system
