To paraphrase a joke, how do you tell if there are people who hate soda at a party?
Don't worry, they'll let you know.
In reply to J.A. Ackley :
My wife is a big fan. We've had good luck finding it at GFS outside of Xmas season.

Oh yeah! Especially if you can find Seagram's brand. It's a rare treat, along with ice cold Fresca. I'm sure I'm showing my age, but Fresca just hits right after a hot, sweaty day at work.
In reply to golfduke :
I am a Fresca fan too. It's almost unheard of these days.
Oddly enough, Coke Zero tastes more like real Coke than regular Coke does these days.
Can you still get Tab? Not that Diet Coke isn't superior to Tab in every way.
I recall the Malort discussions we've previously had.
For a soft drink version of a local beverage that's either loved or hated, I present to you this:

You out to try Dr Pepper Cherry. Even the Zero version is pretty good.
Wait, isn't Dr Pepper cherry cola flavored already?
It's indistinguishable from cherry Coke to me.

I can find Fresca, no problem, but my first choice would be Wink, which is NLA. I do like to mix my Gin with something once in a while.
I had Coke zero recently, and didn't think it tasted very good and certainly not as good as the regular Coke I'm used to.
I drink one pop a day. Yes, pop, and it's a Coke with dinner, no exceptions.
Dr. Pepper and Diet Dr. Pepper for me (haven't seen diet up here in Canada for a long time). Dr. Pepper Zero tastes good but gives me the poops lol.
What are you thoughts on Big Red? The local drive in food place (NOT Sonic, blegh) has "frozen sodas" aka ice cream and soda blended together. Not a float, like actually blended together. I got Big Red mixed with vanilla ice cream and my GF got Dr. Pepper mixed with chocolate ice cream. Both were delicious. However, about half way through mine, I realized where I had tasted that flavor before.
Remember the pink amoxicillin liquid? Yep, my Big Red and vanilla freeze tasted just like that stuff from your childhood. It even kinda looked like it:
But I was a weird kid and actually liked the taste of the liquid amoxicillin so the flavor profile of my freeze didn't turn me off.

Man the other day my kids passed me a cherry-ish flavored candy and I was like "this tastes familiar..."
a minute later it hit me: Kaopectate - the anti-diarrhea medicine. One time I actually lied to get some of that stuff. It took some of the magic out, having it recreationally
