I dinno about clankin' brass cajones, but that man is certainly stronger than i'll ever be. I don't know that I could DRIVE the marathon portion of a triathalon in fireman gear.

It's official, I'm an old puss. Good on him, it would have killed me in the first 100 yards.
Dude is hard core. I've done Ironman Wisconsin twice. Can't imagine doing the marathon with 40 (or so?) pounds of gear and a hot fire suit on. Impressive and inspiring.
According to the writeups - he carries 65 lbs. of gear.

The big brass pair probably isn't that much to carry when you will is made of weapons grade titanium and your heart pumps Chuck Norris blood into your veins. Good lord. I am preparing for my 2nd marathon. I ran my last big miles before I taper off and am cyber slacking while I whimper softy. Seeing that actually made my legs hurt more.
I got curious and found a picture showing running shoes. The boots would have been pure insanity, not like wearing a black, waterproof suit and a heavy pack.
