I bought new running shoes yesterday. Foot felt funny about mile 3 made it back home after 5 miles and it feels like my foot is all screwed up. Needless to say going back to the NB store tomorrow.

Golf tournament in 90+ degree heat, but at least the thunderstorm didn't materialize. I was again reminded why I don't play golf - I suck at it.
Isn't Golf an excuse to drink Beer and pee in the woods?

My son called this morning and notified me that I'm now a grandfather for the second time. Granddaughter born this morning.

My day began with a sort of 'bang', too, as I ran right over an adorable little rabbit in the wee hours of the morning. Poor little guy was intent on crossing the road right in front of me.
Later, I attended a lecture, went for a drive along a nice country road, slept for several hours, and now here I am.
Went and saw the Wienermobile, then spent 8 hours outside in the heat with no shade.
