I have a friend of mine that starts talking about fanny packs whenever people start arguing about politics. I suggest we do the same here. It always derails the conversation.
See?

In reply to SilverFleet:
I see fanny packs becoming more popular as more places legalize recreational Marijuana use. The can hold lighters, pipes, snacks, green stuff with ease and convenience.
In reply to SilverFleet:
That might be the most 1987 pic ever!
So 'roid heads, stoners, and concealed carry types are the ones who still wear fanny packs.

I have friends who mtn bike with one for exactly that reason, "Oh? Stopping for a minute? Time for a headset adjustment..."
I don't want to talk about fanny packs but let's address that sweet terry cloth shirt the guy with the c0ck broom mustache is rocking. Is it a fashionable shirt? Yes! Is is a towel? Yes! All win.
In reply to Huckleberry:
"The guy" with the 'stache looks a lot like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Overall, he's probably made worse decisions in his life than that shirt.

You guys learn me stuff all the time and I wish we could talk about politics without pooping on the stoop, somehow.
It DOES crack me up when (someone) gets upset enough to come in and unload, mostly because it always ends with the word "Boogers".
I also wish we could carry on our ever enlightening and entertaining discussions when we near the realm of politics, but it hardly ever works out that way and instead, and as you so succinctly put it, "ends in Boogers".

I never looked at us as liberal or conservative but data and solution focused with a respect for other people...
And if you disagree you can jump off a bridge you Booger-ist!!!!!
We have a guy here at work that is always of the leading edge of men's fashions. He had a murse years ago.

I would not say this group leans liberal. I would say this group leans libertarian (small 'L') with a fairly centrist economic philosophy.
I used to have/wear a Kool-aid fanny pack. Come to think of it I also had an R/C car, cyclist's cap & bunch of other Kool-aid crap. At that time it was about all I'd drink, and you could mail in the coupons off the packs for prizes. I was in my 20's, so I didn't have a use for much of it, but I rocked that fanny pack.

I don't know which is better the porn stache and the cut pile and loop carpet shirt with the fanny pack, or the guy in the background left mocking them in an unintentional photo bomb...

You may not be working with a complete sample.
And that is a most excellent mustache.

How did anyone end up making babies back then? I can not imagine anyone ever looked at either one of them and thought "I want to engage in an activity that may end up with one of us pregnant".

Weightlifters have always been a little fringe. As you can see from her jacket.
Look at the self-conscious hipsters of today in 30 years, you'll wonder the same thing...
