And now for something completely different:

Not sure it's all that interesting...they are pretty chill little critters. I try to get her out of her container at least every other night and she hangs out tucked up on my shoulder taking a nap for a couple of hours. Tonight she had a "nose whistle" going on so I could hear her breathing...not her but she looks like this.
Currently listening to Paul Thorn - I Don't Like Half the Folks I Love. I apologize to anyone that might be offended, it is meant as a little bit of humor not intended to set anyone off...
Edit: Looks like the YouTube embed code didn't work...let me try and fix that. Here we go...

A friend has got me listening to Garfunkel And Oates. I may never look at Go Cart Racing the same again. NSFW, probably shouldn't have the kids, parents, or anyone who has the slightest bit of respect for you around when you listen to this crap.
Eighth grade, 1961-62 school year. I chose to take clarinet lessons. (Learning the clarinet was a precursor to playing the saxophone). I struggled to learn the basics. It was difficult for me, easy for others. But in the Spring of '62 I heard Stan Getz playing this Bossa Nova song on the radio and was hooked. I knew I'd never be a musician, but I appreciated professional musicians. Especially sax players.
Hearing Stan Getz and knowing my ability with musical instruments, I gave up and quit the clarinet at the end of the school year. But I continued to love and appreciate saxophone jazz to this day.
Performing somewhere in Europe, where he's well-received
Scott is a Rhode Island native, about my age. We were probably learning to play the clarinet at the same time. He was better at it. He apparently got the clarinet right, and then the saxaphone. And he did quite well for himself, becoming an international jazz musician. I'm somewhat envious. Scott is a superb tenor sax jazz artist.

It's the story of a lovely lady
Who was bringing up three very lovely girls
All of them had hair of gold (Like their mother)
The youngest one in curls
It's the story of a man named Brady
Who was busy with three boys of his own
They were four men living all together
Yeah but, they were all alone
