Ah I'd listened to that long ago, that's the one where he basically uses a lot of words to explain that he's rich because he lied about where he got his jeans...if he'd told the truth, that he bought them from Target, he might still be bumming around Venice Beach today.

I don't care about the jeans venture. He was successful at it. He's a pretty good self-promoter and capitalized on that and buying crappy LA real estate that nobody else wanted at the time to get where he is today. He's a Brit who made the "American dream" work very well. I don't begrudge anybody for that. (Oh, and I like his vintage Porsches, which he can afford even though I can't).
