I made myself a playlist of mid-2000's - 2010's alternative and pop punk that I affectionately call "Music for a Myspace Page", and for whatever reason this morning I decided it was the mood for today.

It's available on apple music for anybody else who wants to enjoy (for best results, play on shuffle): https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/music-for-a-myspace-page/pl.u-RRbVYr7s36687G

As we were walking in to the theater (this one was a few days before) one of the workers said to the lady usher, I hope you have ear plugs. I told her they call him the loudest man in Canada for a reason.

Great cover

Scott Hamilton, smooth jazz tenor sax, on Amazon music while sitting here with a glass of pretty good Cabernet:

So if you're interested in classic tenor sax  jazz, give this a listen.

Reading the internet news yesterday and read that musician Chris Cross died at the age of 71. Noticing that his photo didn't look like the pudgy singer I remembered who played along with the band America, I had to do some researching. Evidently there is a Chris Cross and a Christopher Cross as well as a Kris Kross.

Ultravox, a British New Wave Band form the 1980s.
