I am a fan of gunmetal simply because they are not white, silver, or black.
Always gloss on wheels, otherwise you'll never get the brake dust off of them without ruining the finish.
Gloss white is still the answer.

This is the correct answer. We used white "appliance paint" from Home Despot on the s00p3rturd.
Lowes/ Home Depot sells Rustoleum paint in a color called "Rugged". It looks like the flat tan color they paint the Humvees and stuff in the desert. I painted a set of wheels with it for my W123 and love it.
Paint each spoke a different color of the rainbow.
Or paint them blue with two spokes painted red.
I dig that motocycle's half white/half orange setup, but I think it works because of the wheel design.
Im a biiiiig fan of gold wheels.
That said, I pretty much only like white wheels on Blue cars...occasionally red.
I also like orange for some crazy reason.
So, I did a really ghetto sorta-photochop-ish of a single pair of orange spokes on white wheels. I dont know why, but I like the "one spoke is different" look.
Obviously, you would want a really "orange soda" orange, and my weak skills were only able to get me this watered down orange color, but you get the idea.
White would look best but isn't the most practical color. Gunmetal could be a decent choice. I'll shop up some colors.
That link redirects me to a Yahoo login page. Here are some white RPF1s with a complimentary 5-lug conversion and WRX STI brakes
Silver or white are the best looking.
I dig the brakes! Thanks fir the free upgrade!
I appreciate the help, man. I don't know how you do it so quick and easy. Next time you are stateside (challenge?) I owe you some beverages.
All I did was perspective-transform and paste the white RPF1s over your wheels like stickers in a separate layer, and then copy and colorify that layer, which is why the brake rotors also change color I could've cut the brakes out into their own layer but that would've taken a lot more time and effort.

Im sure that was English, but....
Thanks again man.
