Anybody who fires you by phone is a real Bob Costas. That happened to me once (on a Sunday afternoon no less), I said 'okay, what about my commission for stuff I've sold that's still in progress?' (roughly $1100.00) He started stuttering and I said "I'll be there tomorrow morning to cover what I've sold that you owe me for and I will leave with a check'. I walked in at 7:55 AM Monday, walked out at 8:15 with a check which I IMMEDIATELY cashed at HIS bank. That way if it bounced I'd know immediately and I was so pissed there was no way I wouldn't have called the cops.
That was a certain 'beep beep' transmission shop here in Chucktown.
I'm seriously considering writing an e-mail complementing the site too.
He won't check the E-mail, I made a new account that only I have the password for...if he wants to recieve emails on the site he will have to change the address.
Well, the issue is resolved. I stopped in to get my paycheck today.
They always say that things happen for a reason, I now have an even better paying job, in a better part of town, with a better crew of people, and it is something I actually carry interest in. I am working at a mail order Porsche parts place, and I start on Monday. Awesome!
