Trying to figure out what this is. It is neither a Model T nor a Model A. It has overhead exhaust valves. Looks like an F head something.
Any ideas?

The grille shell looks like a 1928 Chevrolet.
This is a 1928 Chevy engine. I think Stuart nailed it.
