Given the description of a CarCrafter, I'm not surprised most people don't own up to it. It's pretty dismissive.
Well, I have no problem with the fact that I can't identify the specific year of a car, or tell you how many years a car ran for, or use hot rodder terminology for types of modifications.

You scored 20 on Hotrodder, higher than 8% of your peers.
100/100 You scored 45 on CarCrafter, higher than 100% of your peers.
37/100 You scored 10 on JoeDirt, higher than 37% of your peers.
33/100 You scored 5 on Drifter, higher than 33% of your peers.
You are pretty cool, but you would rather pay for someone to make a pretty car than get dirty yourself. Regardless of your age, you have an older mentality. You like the classics, but don't feel like you should give up power steering just because you have a Model T.
Your strong interest, but busy schedule at the office means you have a fair grasp of the automotive world, but who cares? You have a big enough wallet that you can tell someone else what you want and have the cash to back it up.
35 on rodder
15 on car crafter

10 on drifter....
a little bit of everything for me.

I'm a Car Crafter. This is apparently because I spend too much time with modern cars and can't identify pushrod engines from the valve covers or know option codes from the 70's. C'mon, hit me with questions about suspension and engine management!
It was an engine managment question. The Rochester Fuel Injection only came on a 283
You scored 60 on Hotrodder, higher than 95% of your peers. 6/100

I gotta make that test tougher... but we are members of a motorsports forum. Maybe we're just all that good :)

Aren't these tests supposed to determine personality more than knowledge?
I need to make one for Ninja/Pirate/Monkey/Robot...
I made the test harder, rescored some of the easier questions, and added a bunch more questions.
Try it now, bitches :)

That helloquizzy site is for any kind of test. Its linked with a match website so that you can use them to determine compatibility or just have fun.
Is it just me, or is the correct answer for torque just not there? Or are we talking some sort of special hot rod horsepower?
If an engine produces 240 hp at 4000 rpms, how much torque (in lb-ft) does it make at 4000 rpms?

Seems like it should be 315.
Trying to do the math for determining RPM at 50mph was driving me nuts. I must have gotten my formulas confused because I kept ending up with 380rpm. Which made no sense. Best I figured was that it was 4 times that much.
5280 ft/mi * 5/6 mi/min = 4400 ft/min
35" diameter * Pi = 109.9" circumference * 1ft/12in = 9.16 ft / rotation
4400 ft/min * 1 rotation / 9.16 ft = 480 rotations per minute (at the wheel)
Final drive is .78:1 = 374 rotations/min at the crank.
WTH?
Yeah, I'm coming up with 315 as well. Unless that's too low for a hotrodder, so you simply add 130 to make it sound better :)
Your 5th gear is 0.78:1. Your final drive, on the other hand, is 4.56:1. You need both those numbers.
According to the new test, I'm a hotrodder now. But I'm still not buying a Model T...

I got Hotrodder on both versions. Here are the scores from the second one:
Hotrodder: 55
Carcrafter: 23
Joe Dirt: 19
Drifter: 20
I seem to be kicking all your asses in points for the Drifter category. I'm not sure if I should be proud of that. What exactly does that category connote?

Grrr... 315 is correct. I originally started that question with 400 hp and then thought that was a little unrealistic for 4000 rpms, so I changed it to 240 but didn't change the answers. Good catch, y'all.
I'll change it.

Don't be proud... that is the young punk ricer category. That is the naws-sticker, fart-can, whale-tail, primered body kit, Si-badged saturn category.
