It's barely bigger/heavier in my pocket than the CRKT, and it's a million times more useful. For one thing, it has an actual screwdriver, which keeps me from buggering up my CRKT blades. I mean, we all know better than to use our nice knives for screwing/prying, but who can resist the temptation? I first thought the Skeletool was lacking features, but it only has what you need, nothing more. And my CRKT lives in my boot now.
Quoted for Truth
After switching knives every few weeks since I was 8, the Skeletool has now been my daily carry knife for over 2 years. It literally goes everywhere with me (I even carry it when I surf), and it still works great. I finally lost one of the bits a few weeks ago, but it wasn't an issue. I bought a whole replacement bit set for $5! Not many companies will sell you just one little piece.
smith and wesson 4" lock back used daily for digging, prying, screwing, hammering and occasionally cutting. old uncle henry stockman used daily for cleaning fingernails and openings packages.
On my belt I have a black Gerber pocket tool, not sure of the model. It gets used at work almost every day to change broken mirrors, tighten parts and cut jammed wheelchair belts. A small Gerber pocket knife when I just a blade, and in my bag a small 20 yr old Cutco with the tip broken off in case the zombies takethe other two.
kershaw
It was handed to me 1988 when I was assigned (as Naval Tactical Environment asset) to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit when we entered the southern islands of the Philippines in search of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front shortly after their assassination attempt on then president Aquino.
Depends on the day and what I'm doing. At the very least, your basic swiss army key-chain-knife-file-screwdriver-tooth pick-tweezers-scissors model. Sometimes an upgraded one, it has two screwdrivers, bigger blade, and a bottle opener, maybe something else. Grandpa gave it to me one day. He actually bought it in Switzerland.
Otherwise, its a basic Leatherman like one of the following two. Mom and Dad got the first for me for Christmas when I was 6, and I've had it ever since. The second I got for my 19th birthday from Mom and Dad, it takes on more of a tool purpose than the others. I like to keep it around the apartment.
I think I'll probably be getting that keyknife thing though, that looks really convenient.
I also want an assisted-open knife, but don't know what I'm getting yet. Or when I'm going to get it.

Got one of those at a friend's wedding. "Giving her away" was a bigger honor than the gift.
Years later, I visited her (and her two kids) after the divorce. She was disappointed I hadn't used my innate talents to HER expectations. Well, gee, thanks a lot...
But the knife was worth keeping.
I call my pocket knife Professor Stabby. It was just stabby at first, but that sounded too psychotic, so the Professor title is there to make him sound more distinguished.

Cool....I was also looking for MILF in '88.

Stabby sounds like a nickname.
Professor Stabatcho Indabelli aka "Stabby" sounds distinguished for tea company but also says "I like to party!"
My favorite was this little guy. It was a very small, sharp, police issue push button switchblade. A friend of mine gave it to me for fixing his tire. He got it from a cop who pulled him over for a BS reason and insisted on searching his car. His car was clean (figuratively, certainly not literally) and the cop dropped his knife while he was in there. That's instant karma. I lost it years later. I think it fell out of my pocket while helping the same friend change a drive axle on the side of the road.
Now I carry this guy: It was a gift. It's pretty bad ass, but depending on what I'm wearing, can be a bit bulky. I usually wear shorts/pants with cargo pockets, so the size usually doesn't bother me.
