What they can do with statistics. Or, How Old Are You?

Based on a few questions of your likes and basic knowledge of stuff, it guesses your age. Got me to within 8 months. That's some statistical work there. Now, take that technology and run that against big data sets and there's no hiding.

Impressive, got me to within 2 years even though the questions are very broad.

I answered once sincerely and once randomly - it guessed 42 both times. When I read the comments... it guessed 42 for the first person in the list. Doc, would you happen to be 42? I am not.

A lot of those questions with two choices I just want to go with both.

I am 21, guessed 29.

I'm 39 (next month) but they think I'm 29.

I'm 30, it guessed 42

I'm 32, it guessed 25.

Well, maybe it only works on semi-geezers. I'm about the same as OST and Margie.

missed me by 11 yrs … they say 54 … actually 65 … would like to have had a "neither" choice for a couple of the questions

Told me I'm 42. The correct numbers are there, but in the wrong order--I'm 24. I kinda expected it would tell me either that, or 13.

Seriously? I knew I acted old sometimes, but c'mon. It said 62...I'm 42 thank you very much. I'm a grumpy old bastard I guess. Some of the questions I had to pick an answer even though I would have picked none of the above.

Apparently I am also 42. I can live with that.

I'm 38 but it guessed 54. Not really surprising because I am more like a grumpy old man than most my peers
