What little I know of planes, the Pitts is one of my favorites. 

Building a teardrop trailer. Been researching it for the second time around and Mrs. f1y is onside this time.

Cruisin around the galaxy in my spaceship with my space hoes doing space stuff.

If I wasn't in line waiting for kids I'd be installing the Subaru interior or cleaning the garage so I can pull said Subaru in to do fluids and timing belt. I'd rather be doing all this refresh work on a more interesting car, but I'm having fun with this and it's cheap, so I'm happy.

Sleeping

As one of my stickers I made for the great sticker exchange says:

I had a somewhat similar conversation with SWMBO recently where I mentioned that if we didn’t need the income I’d have no problem becoming a non-productive member of society. I’d be content to spend my time dabbling with more car/autox/music projects & events, and certainly travel about a bit, but I’m not really driven to do much beyond that. 

She seemed somewhat appalled by that, but she spends enough time reading or watching TV/Netflix that I’m not bothered by it. :-p

Getting up at 4:30am because I can’t sleep and eating dinner at 3:30pm and then falling asleep at 8:30pm.  

Oh wait, you’re not asking about retirement?

I'd visit my mom, haven't seen her in a couple years.

Heading west in my slowest vehicle.  No major routes just one of those little compasses on the dash.  Turn off the 'phone until each pit stop. 

Or head back home and spend my parents twilight decades with them.  No lady friend so no shackles.

Heck my roomie didn't have his contract renewed and I'll have to leave this apt in two months.  I've already started packing and rent is so damn high in D.C. even for just a room and shared bathroom it might be the right time now. 

I should add the two slowest vehicles in the fleet are a GA16DE, 2.8GM V6 both of which I have a tendency to drive like a head-banger.

Same here.  If I could retire today I'm still not sure there's enough time left in my life to do all the things I'd like to.  People who say, "I don't think I'll retire - I'd be bored" make me sad.

Working on or driving my car.  No question, it's all I think about when given even an iota of free time.

Yeah. I have way more hobbies (and hobbies I'd like to try) than I'll ever have free time. Of course, at the rate I'm saving for retirement I'll be working till the day I die anyway. Same goes for people who say they wouldn't quit their job if they won the lotto. I might have a job after winning, but it wouldn't be this one, and I LIKE this one! 

Not sucking at life, mostly. Maybe hanging out with my kid. Definitely not at work. 

Anything involving walking/biking/working on my zephyr. 

I was more taking about in that exact moment rather than the bigger picture but I'm enjoying those comments too. 

I have periods of downtime at work where there's not a lot going on and my mind starts to wonder. Lately it's been about the fish room but by the time I'm done with work and home, getting everyone eating something and I'm finally done for the day I'm just too exhausted to start tearing a room apart.

No, seriously, I'd be building the Pitts, or learning  aerobatics right at this moment if it was allowable.

I think today's answer is cleaning up the shop instead of acting like im working. 

Turning my 05 Silverado into one of these "adventure rigs" and touring the US Southwest and then on to other places.

This is an interesting question because many GRMers probably have a whole list of things they'd be doing. 

My wife is one where she doesn't really know what to do with her free time. She says "cleaning house, reading, napping, maybe go for a walk or a hike." 

I rattle off a list of about 50 projects.
