I'm great at event names, as long as they can be stupid, but this one is stumping me.
My wife's family and I run a lung cancer foundation that does a lot of things, but mainly we raise money to help provide low or no cost CT scans for early detection.
We do several fundraiser throughout the year, and we've decided to do one one this November. This one is a little different than anything we've done before (dinners, raffles, etc) because my favorite local bar/music venue/scene from The Wire is letting us put on a show.
Five bands total - some punk, some not so punk. We'll be doing a raffle for some goods and services from local businesses as well.
THE POINT
I need a name for the event. It should be quick, catchy, and most importantly NOT make anyone who smokes or used to smoke feel bad or unwelcome. We don't care if you smoke - we are here to help you later in life. We also know full well that plenty of non-smokers get lung cancer.
