There must be some news that would be headlining if it weren't for corona, Whats the buzz?

Yes, ^this^
US Army Corps of Engineers for years has not been monitoring the Toutle and Cowlitz Rivers per Federal law for Mt. St. Helens ash build up. Local taxpayers shelled out $110,000 to have the rivers checked (so the taxpayers pay for the USACE and for someone else to do their job) and it shows that the flood protection levels are not being met in Lexington. USACE says "no biggie, we'll monitor it again later" and then the Cowlitz immediately floods and does significant damage to homes and property.

Utah had a significant earthquake. Ironic as I was thinking yesterday how if San Francisco were to have a major one right now that it'd be worse than a horror movie.
Most everything else is somehow intertwined
The government is trying to remove end to end encryption and sneaking it into the EARN IT bill.
Good info in this Reddit thread
Edit: Gameboy beat me to it, but I'm going to leave my links up.
Bipartisan bill working its way through that would put a backdoor into any encryption designed by any US company. Massive problem for anyone that cares about privacy

That's been going on for a little while now, EFF & co have been warning about it and it's getting international press. Oddly enough I don't see anything in the mainstream US news media about that.

Apparently he signed with Tampa Bay. TB to TB.
Since there is no sports going on, that is the ONLY thing being talked about on ESPN.
So related, somewhat to this thread- how do you word a google search to eliminate words from a search.

I think he's the guy who put the puck in the basket the most times to score more runs. Or something.
In reply to alfadriver :
I think a minus sign directly in front of a word will exclude it. like "trans am -pontiac" for example would exclude pontiac results.

And apparently headed lower. This, gentlemen, is news that matters.
Amazed at the amount of attention that people are willing to give to the novelty of grown men running about in funny uniforms chasing a ball.

But it's not a ball.

This. And a + sign will require the word.

Did they call it the Valentine Two?

I did not wish to single out any one of the silly ball-egg-puck/hand-foot-appendage amusements, but rather lump them all into one silly little pile.
